Every artist has their favorite model ... well, jilly-jill was mine. She is beautiful to her core being, She is a fascinating and amazing woman who has traveled the world and has had incredible adventures, exploring castles in Scottland, modeling in N.Y., schooling in Boston, and modeling for me in Montana. I lost contact with her 2 years ago ... I think she is in North Carolina ? so, I am sad today , thinking of her and realizing just how much she means to me, and knowing how much I truely love this woman. (I miss you Jilly)

today is jilly-jill's birhday (also my brother-in-law Mark's) ... Happy Birthday you guys !
I think Mark is 45 yrs old, although he acts 24, We all act like we're still in our 20s. I wonder if we will still be acting like youngsters when we are old and grey ? I hope so !
Depoc Chopra wrote a book called "ageless body, timeless mind", He feels that if we continue to view the world with "childish" eyes we can be happier ... keep asking why? , keep searching for truth , abandon old beliefs that arn't productive. And, as Lindsay says, Play more, Eat more, and Sleep more ! I hope we all live long and happy lives.

Quiet Sketches

I thought I would change the mood a little ... these are a few of my pencil sketches, they seem Quiet and relaxing to me . Maybe because they are a lot more relaxing to draw (a lot less work & time) ... I guess I make the choice, Whether or not, to ink in a picture based on my feeling of the sketch... and the same with deciding to color a picture or not .. if it feels right in its "simplicity" ... then I like to just leave it alone.
