Today is my Niece, Nellie's Birthday , She's TWENTY !
Nell , You grew up so fast (too fast) You have always been like a daughter to me, always overflowing with hugs and love ... ever since you were old enugh to talk, you told me "I love you uncle Jack" 100 times a day ! and I can't even begin to count the amount of hugs you've given me throughout the years. I've never felt more loved from anyone (except maybe your Mom) You have inherited your Mom's compassion and unconditional love ... and still, after surviving your teenage years, you are the kindest person I have ever known !
I hope the world realizes just how blessed we are to have Nellie in our lives

Here it is !!! .. this is the original "man in the moon" that I painted in 1982 (the first painting I did following my accident) ... it's hanging around at Jills house, she finally sent me a snapshot of it so I can share it with y'all ... (I'll let you gaze at this one for a while before I post more pictures)

I got ahold of Dori's BabyBook , so I'm posting some cute pictures of her from the 60s ... She was a great big sister (when she stayed away from the Red Dye #2) She loved to play "school teacher" and I was her favorite student , because of that early learning, I was the only child to ever achive 100% on the assesment test at the end of kindergarden (in our city) She also taught me compassion and unconditional love ... and the value of Family staying close through all the trying times ... I LOVE YOU DORI !
